Tega Cay – Mr. Gerald Paul Rodger, 72, died Monday, December 17, 2012, at his home.

The Funeral Mass will be Noon Thursday, December 20, 2012, at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church with Father John P. Giuliani officiating.

Mr. Rodger was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He loved his family, all of his pets and sweets! His favorite saying was “Strong Like a Bull.”

Surviving are his wife, Mary Rodger of the home; two sons, Don Rodger and his wife Tammy, of Willow Springs, NC and Steve Rodger of Rock Hill; one daughter, Laura Williams and her husband, Jeff of Tega Cay; one sister, Donna McCommon of Torrence, CA., and two granddaughters, Jessica Williams and Paige Williams.
