Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Independent Bible Baptist Church with Revs. Tim Blue and Joe Coley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born on December 12, 1945 in Rock Hill, SC. He was the founding pastor of Independent Bible Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC for 38 years.

Jason was raised in the Pineville cotton fields and was a son of a farmer. He worked fifteen years at Lance before being called to preach in 1974.
