Tega Cay – Mr. Donald Parnell Aldridge, Jr., 53, of 2257 Garys Circle, died Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church with Revs. Tom Tucker and James Grennan. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. The family will also receive friends at other times at the home of Brooks Aldridge, 411 Links Street, Fort Mill and the home.

Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Aldridge was a son of the late Don Aldridge, Sr. and Betty Lou Shelley Aldridge. He was a member of the Lord’s Army Church, Fort Mill. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker who provided for his family. He worked for the city of Fort Mill. He never met a stranger and was willing to help others.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Blakely Aldridge; three sons, Matt Powell, Brian Aldridge, and Donnie Aldridge; a daughter, Karen Blakely; a brother, Victor Aldridge; and 6 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lord’s Army Church, 1734 Harris Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
